Calla Lilies have an elegant graceful shape and this image honors them. I felt that a simple block of color would complement them more than a complicated border. Then, as I was printing, I played with color and created mono prints rather than an edition. Not only does the ink color vary and move from print to print, the papers provide different backdrops and opportunities for variety.
