This image is in memoriam to my garden in Maryland. My husband thought I was nuts, but he let me dig a small pond - 3' x 5' kidney shaped - where I planted various reeds, water plants and a water lily.

It bloomed three times the last summer we were there and we had many dragonflies that dances over the surface of that puddle in the summer.
