After visiting Santa Cruz over the winter and seeing the monarchs, a childhood symbol for me, I needed to create an image that portrayed them.

In this piece, I wanted to capture the all over feel one gets when pattern and image repeat. The butterflies move around the page and seem to be trying to crawl away.
